Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Trice (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a B2B SaaS platform that helps brands and agencies manage influencer marketing campaigns. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our services at usetrice.com.
By using Trice, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Account Information
When a manager account is created, we collect name, email address, and organization details.
Creator Profile Information
For influencer creators using Trice portals, we collect name, email address, social media handles, and platform-specific profile information.
Social Media Data (via OAuth)
When creators connect their Instagram account to Trice, we access the following through Instagram’s official API:
- Basic profile information (username, account type)
- The ability to publish approved content to your account at a scheduled time you have confirmed
- Post-level performance metrics including impressions, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, and video views
- Publishing confirmation and post status
Trice only ever publishes content that has been explicitly approved inside the Trice platform and scheduled at a time confirmed by both you and your manager. We never publish unapproved content, access your direct messages, view your followers list, delete your posts, or modify any existing content on your account.
Usage Data
We collect information about how our platform is used, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the platform.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate and improve the Trice platform
- Verify that influencer content has been published correctly according to campaign requirements
- Automatically pull post-performance analytics so brand managers do not need to request screenshots from creators
- Send notifications related to campaign activity, deadlines, and approvals
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
- Publish approved campaign content to your connected Instagram account at the confirmed scheduled time, on your behalf
We do not use your data for advertising purposes. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use Instagram data to serve ads or build advertising profiles.
4. Instagram API Data
Trice uses the Instagram Graph API to access creator account data. Trice publishes content to your Instagram account only when all of the following conditions are met:
- The content has been approved inside the Trice platform by your manager
- A go-live date and time has been confirmed by both you and your manager
- You have granted Trice publishing permission via Instagram’s official OAuth flow
You can cancel or reschedule any scheduled post inside Trice before the confirmed go-live time. Trice never publishes content outside of these conditions.
We store Instagram access tokens securely and encrypted. We do not share Instagram data with third parties except as required to operate our service. We delete Instagram data upon account deletion or when a creator revokes access. We comply fully with Instagram’s Platform Policy and Meta’s Terms of Service.
Permissions we request:
- instagram_business_basic: to read profile information and confirm post publication
- instagram_business_content_publish: to publish approved content to your Instagram account at the scheduled time confirmed by you and your manager
- instagram_manage_insights: to pull post-performance analytics automatically after content goes live
- pages_read_engagement: required for Business and Creator account access
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for database storage, which is hosted on infrastructure compliant with SOC 2 standards.
Access tokens from connected social accounts are stored encrypted and are never exposed in our application interface.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Service providers who help us operate Trice (hosting, email delivery, analytics) — under strict data processing agreements
- Law enforcement or regulatory bodies when required by law
We do not share Instagram API data with any third party for advertising, marketing, or profiling purposes.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for data processing
- Request that we stop processing your data
